In brief, you may wish to know the following about Station Joinery Services Ltd: My Name is Mike McManus, I was born in Glasgow in 1953 into a working class family, my father was a fine carpenter himself and taught me from an early age to appreciate what can be achieved with the worlds finest natural renewable resource.

I am a time served tradesman having completed my apprenticeship with British Railways in the Glasgow and Derby main railway workshops where I continued to work for several years after. My first solo project however was baseboards for my trainset when aged about 10 years old, things have moved on since then, please browse the site and see.....
